Two+ years ago my dropbox was connected to a business account of the company I worked for. The company doesn't exist anymore. The dropbox business account doesn't exist anymore. There is no trace of it when I go online to my private dropbox account.

I'd like to connect my Mac Dropbox app to a NEW business account I've jus become a member of. But I cannot figure out how to get rid of this old Zombie dead business account. I see no way to remove it.

What can I do?

** I've been asked to include a screenshot of the Personal tab. Here it is. The obfuscated text is the personal e-mail address I use with my personal dropbox account.

Did you try reinstalling Dropbox on your Mac? – Nimesh Neema May 3 '18 at 15:19
  • No. I was hoping there's a way to remove an old dead account without having to re-install a supposedly modern piece of software on a platform that prides itself on UX. – JasonGenX May 3 '18 at 16:02
  • Can you edit the question to include a screenshot of Account tab. That's typically where the option to log out resides. – Nimesh Neema May 3 '18 at 19:09
  • @NimeshNeema I did. thanks. The only thing it offers me to unlike is my personal dropbox account, which I'd like to keep. It's the defunct business dropbox account I'm trying to get rid of. – JasonGenX May 3 '18 at 21:52
  • I agree it could possibly be a UX issue. I don't have an answer here. If I were in this situation, I would have tried contacting Dropbox support or tried a clean re-install of Dropbox app. – Nimesh Neema May 3 '18 at 22:07
