I have text (3 words) that I want to test by generating this text from a collection of fonts ? do you know any way to automate this?

You can do it with this script:

 Create Font Sample.scpt

Modified by b.leopard on macosxhints.com to include a dialog

This script creates a font sample of the selected fonts in FontBook.app
