Besides xeyes and xcalc, is there any other X11 applications that I could launch from Linux with ssh -X
?

Why applications like safari is not working with ssh -X ? When i launch safari, the GUI windows appears on the server side, instead of the X11 client side. Aug 6, 2016 at 7:56

Because standard OSX applications are not using X11 at all. Actually most users never get in touch with X11 on OSX nowadays.– nohillside ♦Aug 6, 2016 at 8:14
