Jul 12, 2015 at 13:54 comment added Matt No, but I'll be pursuing this again later this year, probably the apple script or automator route.
Jul 12, 2015 at 0:38 comment added OJFord @Matt - did you ever manage to do this? I'm also looking for a way to import as default, for the same reason :)
Aug 16, 2013 at 13:50 comment added Matt @danielAzuelos Hopefully not -- my idea is to be able to re-configure my own workstation whenever I re-install the OS or something. For years I was using Windows and I hated having to reconfigure everything manually, and with Mac being a Unix system it's nice that I can more easily script things.
Aug 16, 2013 at 6:49 comment added athena → Matt: do you have to do this configuration more than once (i.e. on more than one account or on more than one computer)?
Aug 16, 2013 at 4:35 comment added Matt Well, from a shell at least. If I had to do it from a Terminal, hopefully this automation script is the only one I'd have to run in the default Terminal settings.
Aug 15, 2013 at 21:33 comment added athena How do you intend to run this shell script? From a Terminal?
Aug 15, 2013 at 20:15 comment added Matt @danielAzuelos So I can automate the process.

Aug 15, 2013 at 18:56 comment added athena Why do you want to make this setting from a shell and not directly from within Terminal?
