Using Logitec MX Keyboard without Options+ software. It's ok.
BUT, I can't control backlight on-duration. Not ok.

I also have a logitec mouse and it works great with steermouse.
I can't use gesturing, but that's fine.

There are key-mapping utilities, but I can't find one for a backlight.
There is no key for this setting and I don't know of a shortcut either.
 

Can anything be done? I don't want to install Options+. Please no.

PS- When/How did functions like these become so locked down?
