Running into this as well, some machines have mDNSResponder running, some don't. Some on 15.0, some on 15.1.1. Loading/unloading mDNS fails with an input/output error as in the OP on boxes where it isn't already running. Also when using curl to try and reach one of the failing domains it reports failed: Bad file descriptor

How are you managing and enabling local network access which is blocked out of the box on macOS Sequoia? | |
