The MacBook Air (MBA from now on) is still in my possession, and I essentially got the MBP to replace the MBA for my daily driver, so my partner could have access to a computer. Initially, I wanted to just add a new [admin] account for her and leave most of my stuff on there. That didn't work, I tried to set up her account prior to her using it by doing various things, including adding battery % to the menu bar, and threw the error still. This prompted me to reinstall, and it persisted thru recovery wipe. I had to use a USB to do a full wipe and reinstall to fix. | |
