May 5, 2018 at 16:13 comment added einjohn @Bruce: I'm using Karabiner and have CapsLock+a mapped to left mouse button. Now I can click and hold with a keyboard shortcut (Caps Lock and a) and use Ctrl+<arrow> to switch to next desktop (or Ctrl+<num> to switch to specific desktop) and thereby move the window to that desktop, using a(n apple) keyboard only. (I've furthermore mapped CapsLock+j,k,l,i to arrow keys (in Karabiner, too). Thereby I can do this without leaving the homerow! These shortcuts comes in handy in a lot of situations! :) )

Jun 30, 2016 at 21:43 comment added Bruce Yeah, it works, but Ctl and -> keys are on the opposite side of the keyboard. That means two hands are required. Clicking the mouse (or track pad) with my third hand is inconvenient. This can be done IFF you have a non-Apple keyboard.
