Installing using iSync plugins in OS X 10.7 and later

I have a new MacBook withiSync is being phased out from OS X Lion. To my great consternation, iSync isn't part of the package any more (I had a MacBook withIn 10.6 for a week but had to give7 Lion, it back due to a problem)doesn't come with it pre-installed any more.

I don't have a Time Machine backup, so the only waypurchased an iSync plugin for me to getmy mobile phone. I am currently using iSync back wasin Lion using a version downloaded from some anonymous source on the Internet (which kinda reminded mein a previous version of Windows... from which switched so I wouldn't have to do stuff likethis question that any more. Anyway.) Howeverdidn't work, that stand-alone copy of iSync doesn't seem to play nice with the iSync plugin that I had purchased for my mobile phonebut this has since been resolved, it was an installation glitch). It seems likeSo at the moment, everything is fine, but I'm not sure for that plugin tohow long this will work, I need a fully installed iSync.

Is there any wayWill I still be able to do a proper install ofsync contacts and calendars with my mobile phone (a Samsung B2100) once iSync won't work on OS X at all any more (presumably when Mountain Lion? I realize iSync is being phased comes out because of some deprecated frameworks, but it really is the only way for me to synchronize my mobile phone, and not being ablein may)? Is there a product that will continue to dowork that would be a big loss.can deal with iSync plugins?
