The Time Capsule can still be a wired network router / DHCP server on its LAN ports without operating a wireless network. So people definitely need to check that both of these things are off. I wouldn't trust that it turns itself off. :) | |

For me, the network was automatically switched to Off (Bridge Mode) after I turned Wireless off. Seems that Apple knows this is the correct configuration.
