In iTunes > Preferences > Advanced , uncheck Copy files to iTunes Media folder when adding to library . Does that make Option 2 acceptable?

I'm a bit confused about Library and Playlist. Basically I want two separate libraries, and I want to populate them without clicking on every individual song/lesson
