May 15, 2020 at 6:55 | comment | added | Juri Tiede | Then I tried to install Windows 10 with the Boot Camp Assistant. The installation goes through and after the installation the MacBook Air is restarted and keeps getting always the same error message: "The computer was. restarted unexpectedly or an unexpected error occurred. The Windows installation cannot continue. Click "OK" to restart the computer, and then run the installation again." Can you please help me here or what can I do? Is it even possible to install Windows 10 on my MacBook Air 2013?

Yes, I am trying to install Windows on the internal hard drive. I exchanged the internal SSD for a Samsung SSD + Adapter: Samsung MZ-V7S500BW 970 EVO Plus 500 GB NVMe M.2 internal SSD Then I tried to install Windows 10 with the Boot Camp Assistant. The installation goes through and after the installation the MacBook Air is restarted and keeps getting the same error message.

May 14, 2020 at 23:42 | comment | added | David Anderson | The instructions for a 2011 iMac should not be used to install on a 2013 MacBook Air. The main reason has to do with the boot method. A 2011 iMac should BIOS boot Windows 10 and a 2013 MacBook Air should EFI boot Windows 10.
