For some reason my laptop switched to a weaker network and getting back on the good network fixed the issue, at least for now (fingers crossed). Both networks are 2.4GHz.

With my previous MBP 2015 same Magic Trackpad, same office and desk, it all worked. Then I upgraded to MBP 2018 with the Satechi USB hub and everything still worked fine. But when I replaced my Logitech Solar keyboard (it has its own radio and USB receiver) with the Magic Keyboard with numeric keypad the connection issues immediately started. It would be too much of a coincidence. Also, sometimes the problem goes away for weeks, but they come back, often after a reboot. Turning off the keyboard doesn't help either now.

We had issues with our Wi-Fi connectivity which were resolved by replacing it to a 5Ghz router. Maybe it's just a coincidence that this started to happen when I bought new MBP but I think the Bluetooth module or just the construction, in general, are shitty in the new MBP.
