Feb 11, 2019 at 10:20 | comment | added | Tetsujin | I've added more info on how Maps stores POIs, but I can't really guess at how non-UK addresses & POIs work.

Feb 11, 2019 at 9:55 | comment | added | Bob | BTW I tried to enter the house number first, and it works for Bakkerstraat 22 too! You can add it to the answer, if you want.
Feb 11, 2019 at 9:54 | comment | added | Bob | This is the question I want to ask. I never said I it's about UK or it's about Sherlock's home specifically. But I added some clarification, thanks.
Feb 11, 2019 at 9:51 | comment | added | Tetsujin | Then you need to reformat your question to ask the the actual question you need an answer to, rather than have people waste their time answering a question you don't need the answer to.
Feb 11, 2019 at 9:47 | comment | added | Bob | No, I didn't ask about UK. I just took a random well known address which happened to be in England.
Feb 11, 2019 at 9:46 | comment | added | Tetsujin | I've not a clue how it would work in other countries. You asked about the UK. I answered on the UK. Search by the Postcode. That is as accurate as Maps will resolve... in the UK.
Feb 11, 2019 at 9:44 | comment | added | Bob | This address was just an example. There are a lot of countries where house numbers come after the street name. And not every house has a point of interest of it. So let's say it's not 221b Baker street in London, but Bakkerstraat 22 in Antwerpen - not a point of interest and house number at the end.
