Dec 23, 2018 at 15:33 | comment | added | synbio_alchemist | @grg I agree that it's all easily faked, but it might help me to make my case! What do you mean when you say it's not possible to prove without their assistance? Might they be able to help me in some way other than the IP address? Thanks!
Dec 23, 2018 at 15:04 | comment | added | grg♦ | It could be, but I'm not sure how you could check. In Safari's History page (⌘Y), have you tried searching for the page and seeing what date it says? I don't know if it's possible to get it back but I'll check Safari's history database to see if it keeps the record. However, all of this is easily faked and I don't think this makes for a valid case of proving a visit — I don't think it's ever possible to prove without their assistance; see the first comment.
Dec 23, 2018 at 15:02 | comment | added | synbio_alchemist | @grg do you think this might be why the site is missing from my safari history? Any way to get it back?
Dec 23, 2018 at 15:01 | comment | added | grg♦ | @Allan or because it was visited later. Newer history items override older items in the list where the URL is the same, at least in Safari.
