Feb 15, 2012 at 4:42 | comment | added | user18752 | Griffo: I have Gmail on my iPhone, but only the Calendar is active. Still, I get the incoming e-mail alert sound when the mute switch is "off." I realize I can shut off the alert sound by setting it to "none" in Settings->Sounds, but what if I want the sound most of the time and only want it muted when the mute switch is "off?" Is this still Gmail? If so, where do I find the "Sounds" that I'm supposed to switch off? Thx! | |
