Mar 28, 2018 at 5:41 comment added Trishun Maybe. But disk image is disk image. I may not view it properly because of file system, but it should be burned (burnt?) in right way. We have one mac at work. I'll check it then. Or burn new DVD there. But probably after Easter. Now we have to much deadlines.
Mar 27, 2018 at 21:00 comment added l008com Was the Mac able to boot off the DVD you burned? Windows CD burners might not be able to burn it in a way that a Mac can boot from.
Mar 27, 2018 at 20:43 comment added Trishun Because currently I only have working machines with Windows and Ubuntu. I would do this on my mini if USBs have worked...
Mar 27, 2018 at 3:20 comment added l008com I've never heard of that, why not just use Disk Utility?
Mar 26, 2018 at 21:13 comment added Trishun I've mounted and burned it in PowerISO.
Mar 25, 2018 at 23:23 comment added l008com Perhaps you burned it wrong? You need to mount the image and burn that volume to the DVD, so you have a disk filled with all those files, not a disk that simply contains InstallerESD.dmg.
Mar 25, 2018 at 18:26 comment added Trishun Thank you. Unfortunately I only have macs with 10.3 or 10.13, to option B is "slightly" inaccessible. I've burned InstalESD to DVD, it's not showing as bootable. I've managed to get DVD image of ElCap installation disk, I will buy more dicsc and burn it.
