sorry sir , ls command is'nt working which you can see in the 3rd line that i posted . but i ran it to check again ls -la and i got the following . Ys-MacBook-Air:/ hareentej22$ ls -la -bash: ls: command not found Ys-MacBook-Air:/ hareentej22$

i ran the above command line and entered into nano , but i see it is blank . sorry for the wrong information in my comment regarding the contents of ~/.bash_profile . And after exiting the nano and the problem still persists
