I just got a new MBP, and I bought a Thunderbolt 3 to Thunderbolt 2 adapter, assuming I could use the VGA, DVI and Ethernet adapters that I already had, so I would only have to buy 1 adapter instead of 3 more expensive ones.

The ethernet adapter seemsdoesn't seem to work, butand I can't get picture using the DVI or VGA adapters. I'm having trouble finding documentation - is that setup supposed to work? If so, what should I check?
