Fuzzy recollection of this. If you're a Mac Developer Program member, check that area and connect.apple.com and thereabouts. Oh, and I should edit part of my answer … it's not so much that Apple are being secretive, or using something proprietorial, maybe just staging releases of documentation. | |

I may have to dive into the WWDC videos if no one has a clue. I would be surprised if it was an API, but it is an external interface of interest to developers for sure. | |
