Fixed dead link (old link gives "Sorry, that page cannot be found", same quotation can be found in new link). Fixed spelling (Appple's > Apple's). Corrected name "App Kit" to "AppKit" which is how Apple calls it in the linked page. Added a comma in last paragraph.

Aug 23, 2012 at 18:26 comment added Frank Schmitt It looks like Apple is working on this. Their ML release notes state "We now allow a fullscreen window to occupy an external display… Much of the underlying Spaces architecture has changed in 10.8". I think they're working on it, and maybe by 10.9 we'll have each display as an independent full-screen app container.
May 16, 2012 at 21:53 comment added GlennG It's a horrendous mess on Apple's part; they've effectively destroyed multiple monitor support. Even using a single monitor is sub-standard as you can't have another window over the maximised application, e.g. grab, email, etc. Almost a year on and nothing's been done.

Jul 27, 2011 at 23:32 comment added Nick Bedford Oh wow. This is a major workflow breaking "assumption" on Apple's part. Do their employees not use multiple monitors at Apple?
Jul 27, 2011 at 12:13 comment added Samantha Catania This is Apple's fancy way of saying we weren't capable of making it better, we're still working on it >.< Were're (developers) having all kinds of problems with regards to anything fullscreen TT.TT
Jul 27, 2011 at 12:09 comment added Konrad Rudolph +1 for digging this up. But –1 to Apple. This is a ridiculous rationale.
