remove yosemite reference as the OP indicates thy want a main stream / not pre-release question in a flag

I've never needed a thumb drive to install OS X although I know it's a popular thing for people to ask about. Detailing why might help us link this to an existing question or know if it's a new one for the site. | |

Updated title, added a note at the bottom of the post and summarized the content, scraping anything off-topic off. Hereby creating it less regarding pre-release software, but more mainstream and public software.
