I did talk to support again, though, and for once we may be on to the source... they use WDS (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wireless_distribution_system) and at times, this can cause the base station MAC address to change while the SSID remains the same. Mac OS X (and, it turns out, many variants of Linux) apparently interprets this as a man-in-the-middle attack, which is why it disconnects. They're looking into it now, so we'll see if they come back with a solution... | |
