What is an SSD drive's negotiated link speed? I do not believe that there is any optical disk drive in existence that can operate at a faster negotiated link speed than 1.5 Gigabit. I doubt that there is any drive that can actually reach that speed anyway. This is simply a limitation of the DVD and CD-ROM drive technology. |

Dvorak keyboard layout with international character support? You are correct, but I did not imply that this would work with ALL characters. The US layout is designed to work with the Western European languages. It cannot handle Turkish or Croatian or Vietnamese, for example. The Apple Macintosh Dvorak implementation is based on the Apple Macintosh US layout. If you need to type in a "non-Western" language, you need a different layout, and they are available. |

Reducing Lion OS Footprint by removing unnecessary files/folders I have used Monolingual only to remove international language files, not to remove "architecture" code. I have run Monolingual hundreds of times on my system for many years with never a single problem. |

What is Mac OS X Lion's Finder Font? That is a specific setting in your Web browser, be it Safari, Firefox, Chrome, etc. That has to do with the display of HTML and it is not a global system parameter in Mac OS X. |

Can I remove the page breaks (or re-flow postscript documents) in PDF files? The quick answer is "yes, sort of". There are good ways to edit PDFs, but PDFs by their nature are fixed in page format. So you will find this a frustrating undertaking. |

Unable to run Office with same product key You should call the Microsoft customer support telephone number in your country and ask them to explain the situation and solve the problem. That is why they are there. |

How can I keep Java 7 up to date? Personally I don't understand the current confusion between Apple's release version of Java and the browser plugin, and the new independent Java release. Things seem to be in a state of flux. Can anyone explain the situation please? |
