Which SSD Thunderbolt Product For Main Boot Drive for my iMac? "Thunderbolt is for much higher speeds" not really, since the drive would be the bottle neck. And also, the display glass is magnetically attached and comes of very easily, the only part friction welded is the "chin" cover, which isn't removable, but doesn't need to be. |

Which SSD Thunderbolt Product For Main Boot Drive for my iMac? Why don't you just replace the internal HDD with a regular 2.5" SSD of your choice (for less than $200-$300) |

Are CPU and GPU embedded on the logic board? Sorry for the bad news, but practically no laptops have socketed CPUs, graphics cards or other components. The sockets/connectors require use up too much of the precious internal volume. It's the same for most mobile devices, "all-in-ones," laptops, etc. |

Restarting speakers without rebooting? Unfortunately, CoreAudio is such an integral part to pretty much every Cocoa based Mac application so when it starts messing up, many aspects of the OS go haywire until it's s restarted. It also makes isolating the issue is difficult. =/ |

MacBook won't detect displays unless I “detect displays” manually from System Prferences Idk, it seems like it's too random of an issue to constitute a hardware issue. Considering neither the internal nor external display show any sign of artifacting. Frame rates, resolution, colour depth, etc. are all perfectly normal. |

MacBook won't detect displays unless I “detect displays” manually from System Prferences I should have mentioned that this set up has been working for over 2 years and randomly started exhibiting this behaviour recently. |

MacBook won't detect displays unless I “detect displays” manually from System Prferences And it works fine (in terms of display output contents), but my macbook just fails to adapt between the single monitor and dual monitor configurations. It seems to not "notice" the plugging in and unplugging of the monitor. |

Force USB to accept a large file? I'd assume it's FAT32, limiting the file size to 4GB |

Why is it that my Mac would rather swap than clear inactive memory? The slot; any combination involving it cause kernel panics. I've tried multiple (original) 1GB sticks, and aftermarket 2GB and 4GB sticks. |

iPhone 4 won't charge with wall charger after iOS 6 update The wall charger is still 5V, using the same (-) and (+) pins as regular USB. The only difference is that there is some resistor across the data line to tell the phone that it can use more current than a regular USB power source |

Why is it that my Mac would rather swap than clear inactive memory? I still don't get why inactive memory isn't vacated when needed, resulting in swapping. I found a solution by just disabling the automatic pager in charge of swapping. |

Why is it that my Mac would rather swap than clear inactive memory? One of my SODIMMs causes kernel panics, so the best I can get is a single 4GB module =/ |

MacBook Air RAM Usage Chrome usually leaves A LOT of inactive memory. I don't know why but it's quite annoying. The important part is that you don't start swapping memory, cuz then system performs drops significantly. |
