I have none, it's a simple experiment, the result can be checked by anybody.

You don't require third party applications to change the icons. When you select an image file and copy it, the pasteboard contains the file, not the file contents. You can change the icon by opening a (say, png) file in preview, selecting all, copying, and pasting in the image well.

comment Do you know a simple sound booster app for Mac?
@NicolasBarbulesco Using the quantity of results to a Google search Query is a TERRIBLE argument against the suggestion to use a Google search to solve such a simple question.

If your goal is just to control a Mac with an iPad (I din't know if it is or not), have you considered VPN, or are you looking strictly of a bash approach?

Is there any benefit to doing this? I see much pain in your future. A mess of symlinks, app compatibility issues, etc.

Oops missed that. That list accounts for all processes on your machine. All cpu usage will he accounted for. In case youre doubtful, you can compare it to something else, such as the output of the top command.

comment Is there an app that lets me use an iPhone as a mouse?
The accelerometer and gyroscope only sense changes in position and orientation, respectively. Getting absolute position/orientation from changes in position/orientation is possible (it's called dead reckoning), but I'm doubtful that it'll yield the type of accuracy you'll need for an effective mouse. There are many trackpad-esque apps you should give a try.
