Trouble creating new Exchange Server account in Lion When I manually add the same server info from our other Macs, the outgoing message fails. The only accounts that send and receive are the ones that were created using auto setup including the domain. I haven't checked the console log but I will. |

Why aren't some of my songs transferring to my new iPhone? I just re-downloaded a song I purchased which appeared under "All" and was already in my Library and it worked. I now have a fresh version in my Library. Try it with one or two of yours and see if that resolves the puzzle. |

If getting iPhone 4S, is Verizon reception in general slightly better than AT&T? Or does it depend largely on the location? Maybe you can crowd source your answer. That's a long trip on the subway and you can look for people using their phones when you lose your signal. Ask them which carrier they have and how it holds up. There may be certain locations along that route where no carrier's service would work. |

MacBook pro unresponsive / slow after startup Can you try two things and share the response with us? If you're on wifi, turn wifi off and reboot. Does the MBP response improve? Can you run the hardware test to see if anything is acting up? This would tell us if anything is failing. Instructions on how to do it are in Apple's knowledge base article HT1509. Thanks. |

Limit Spotlight to mail I agree with Macaco. I've adjusted Spotlight to only index documents, folders, mail, contacts, applications and PDFs. My MDS is 0% at the moment. |

Writing a Mail.app rule to say “do not download from server” Can you show us what the subject line looks like along with the Windows Mail Download Rule you applied? I have an idea that worked for me but it may be way off base without understanding what has to be filtered. |
