the KHX1600C9S3P1K2/8G mem modules will run on 1600mhz but be aware the 8GX version will still run on 1333mhz according to the dutch article in my question

Not a whole solution since it requires some work but having a time machine disk in a waterproof fireproof safe might do the trick. Although you need to connect the disk from time to time. But backing up every month/week just might do the trick. you can also setup a dropbox or other cloud service account to also backup your latest data.

Jep I have filled them in in my 'site manager' i can connect to my ftp servers just by clicking and passwords are set and needed for a ftp connection. I think they are not stored in the keychain
