@rraallvv Two years old answer, so sry, don't know. Didn't tried it under Mavericks. Some applications has builtin this functionality, like MplayerX or VLC and such.

comment Is it legal to use WINE to play PC games on Mac?
@Darkhogg Just because Wine calls itself "not an emulator", it is only playing with a words, like "GNU is not UNIX". Strictly speaking it IS an emulator. The meaning of the word "emulates" (merriam-webster.com/dictionary/emulates) is: "to try to be like", what exactly covers the functionality of Wine. And according to wiki.winehq.org/… Wine itself corrected the marketing buzzwords to: Wine is not just an emulator . Therefore now Wine is mostly called as "compatibility layer". Thanx for a comment. :)

comment Changed /Users folder permission at boot time
@patrix was iTunes 11.2 (installed on may.17). Todday installed 11.2.1 (and os x update 10.9.3) and the problem is gone! So, probably the iTunes was guilty. :) Please, write your comment as answer - will accept it, it pointed me to the right direction. Thank you.

comment What software can add a Windows-like taskbar to the Mac OS?
@wizlb I don't want start any flamewar, see my edit. Windows tiling is a job for the window manager, not for a taskbar, anyway this is an detail and youre right: the windows tiling is missing from OS X and if someone need it - it can be frustating. The philosophy of OS X is different from windows (for example: CMD-H, for hiding applications, applications (usulaly) continues to run when you close its windows). Therefore implementing something what will behave exactly as windows-taskbar is probably not an easy task.
