I think it can only extract from self-extracting exe files and some setup files.

comment New MacBook Pro Retina Hard Drive Type
I don't think there is anything concrete, but from the picture of the inside it looks to be the same as with the Air models (i.e. there is nothing to replace manually, neither RAM nor hard drives).

comment Is there WindowTabs like app on Mac OS X?
I think he wants to group independant apps, not have tabs in one specific app.

comment Getting Sublime text to use the latest version of Ruby?
you need to make sure that your ruby install is the first one found in the path, otherwise it won't be picked up. Or you can specify the absolute path to the installation you want (e.g. /usr/local/bin/ruby for homebrew).

comment Why won't iTunes stream 320 kbps audio across a network?
Also look at the encoder. If possible (i.e. if you ripped them yourself) maybe try another encoder, preferable iTunes itself.

comment Should I buy Ram memory DDR3 1066MHz for Mac mini (Mid 2011)?
Yes, you are right, 1333Mhz is the correct one. 1066 should work as well, but getting the faster one is better. I just looked at the title of the question, not at the correct info.

comment Should I buy Ram memory DDR3 1066MHz for Mac mini (Mid 2011)?
Just to add: The retailer doesn't matter one bit so long as you know what you are buying. Any normal 1066Mhz DDR3 SO-DIMM RAM will work just fine and will (probably) be quite a bit cheaper at a local retailer or ordering it from a retailer from your own country.

comment How many Apple IDs should one household have?
Not a good standalone answer as it doesn't relate to the original question. IMHO this should have been a comment to the Lee's answer instead.

comment What is the OSX equivalent to Window's AppData folder?
Note that in Lion the ~/Library folder is hidden in the finder by default. You can still go there by using the "Go to folder" functionality.

comment A good (and inexpensive) images manager for Mac?
Pressing the option/alt key when launching iPhoto gives you the option to open and create more than one library. Not sure if that's your only issue with the program.

@RyChannel Why should it? You are allowed to sell GPL Software if you abide the GPL license.

comment What are the best practices for battery longevity?
If I leave my MBP plugged it for a while I can certainly see it degrading from 100% down to 95% and when it hits that, it starts to charge up to 100% again. So it's not holding the battery at 100% constantly while plugged in and only charges again when it lost a considerable amount of charge already.

comment Where can I find a replacement screen for my 13" MBP?
Was it damaged caused by the delivery? ifixit.com should have screens if you're set on doing it yourself.

"Undervolting does not work with the i5 / i7 MacBook Pro" (ie. it doesn't work for the early 2011 MBPs).
