comment What tiny thing in iOS 5 makes you smile, or has caught you off guard?
Perhaps you meant Safari users on Lion. On Safari on SL, I see only the boxes (as with Chrome)

comment How can I speed up the Open With menu?
The speed most likely depends on the type of the file you are trying to open, and the number of applications that you have installed. I have tons that can open images, so open with on images takes a long time. The same for a plain text file (.txt) is instant. What type of file are you trying, and do you have a lot of apps that can open that type?

comment How to simulate “right click” in Apple MacBook Pro
For editing you may want to try Alt+Arrow keys to move one word at a time. Cmd+Arrow Keys move to the beginning/end of the line. In the long run this may prove faster than switching between the keyboard and mouse (or trackpad). See "Application and other Mac OS X keyboard commands" in Mac OS X keyboard shortcuts

comment Magsafe adapter not “fitting” in to MacBook Pro
@Dan, first thought this was spam. But too high rep to be a bot :-) (no offence intended). After a second I realize the possible significance. No Dan, no children... (after your edit: no. this is my home comp.)

I dont thin so, because the leads there are "yellow" - brass or something, and these balls are white. I have removed them for now, hoping nothing happens :)

Will post a screenshot when I see a similar scenario. If I dont, will close this Q.

comment Which process is periodically writing to the disk?
Now (when I am back home from work) I see that the activity has come down (peak is around 900 KB/s). What was open in the morning is open now: Twitter App, Chrome and text edit (no changes made there. I typed something 4 days ago that I want to remember, but too lazy to save, and to think where to save)

comment Which process is periodically writing to the disk?
Yes, I understand these. But how frequently? I have a lot of free RAM: Now around 5GB (added this detail to question as well)
