high five bmike

My name is Mike Bradshaw. Please contact me if I can be of assistance as one of the Moderators of Ask Different on Stack Exchange.

Note, If you are emailing for help answering your question as opposed to help with moderation of the site, be sure to send a link to the question. I can't answer every troubleshooting question here (my paying customers have priority). If you have an exceptionally tough problem to solve, I do love challenges. Help me help you by asking a stellar question.

I'm often in the chat rooms here, but I'm also very much on the twitter as @bmike.

comment Symbol present in mach_kernel but not in any kpi
I'm going to reopen this and kick off a thread on meta since kernel extensions isn't necessarily a code level question and system admin, advanced users and shell scripting people can all access kernel extensions and symbols. I could be wrong, but I'd rather err on not prematurely closing things...

comment Is there a user-friendly app that can create an archive of system.log files and the like?
The software is licensed and requires you to register, but other than your time and email address, I've found them to honor requests to not email you unless you opt in to mailings from the company. For most use cases, the software is routinely free if you request a license after evaluating it.
