comment Suppress Java warnings
The best fix would be to get whoever hosts the application to fix the SSL certificates! I assume you've added a certificate exception to Firefox aswell as Java? (it would have prompted you when you tried to access the site with the expired cert)

This sounds like a hardware error. I suspect your machine will need to take a trip to an Apple store (or other Apple repair place).

comment Transform Parallels Windows disk in native Windows, bootable with Bootcamp
I found an old thread on the Parallels support forums which has instructions to do that, but it doesn't look easy. People have asked if it's still relevant today but there hasn't been an answer.

comment Flickr & iPhoto 11 - selective upload only.
Maybe I'm missing something about your workflow, but when working in iPhoto 11, I create an album as normal and then Share it with Flickr. Only the contents of the album gets uploaded, nothing else...

I agree that increasing RAM is more important than getting an SSD, but not with the "Increasing file access speed will not increase system performance" bit. Any application that does a lot of disk IO (the likes of Safari, XCode and iPhoto spring to mind immediately) will benefit massively.

Define "best". What are you looking for in a torrent client?

comment Why won't the iPad Podcasts app download my MP3s?
How big are the files? I vaguely remember something about a 50mb file size limit (which varies from one country to the next).

comment Safari 6 rendering issues/artifacts (on Mountain Lion)
@René According to blackpixel.com/blog/2012/02/radar-or-gtfo.html it's a good idea to raise duplicate bugs with Apple, so it's probably a good idea if you report it too!

Ah, this might help explain some "interesting" itunes behaviour I've experienced. I'll try this out.

comment iPhone 3G cannot send mail - rejected by the server because it does not allow relaying
If you haven't changed anything on the iPhone, something has probably changed on the server end. Get in touch with your email provider's technical support people.

comment Does the performance increases when the memory increases in Apple products?
@hpiOSCoder I don't have any idea when, but they will at some point (as Zsub says). As an example, look at the 1st and 2nd generation iPhones. Neither are supported by the current OS.
