How do I get a refund after purchasing an app from the Mac App store? I did this once, about 6 months ago. When I try now, the "report problem" button sends me to Apple's support website ... did they change this? |

VPN+Proxy: How to override main network settings I set up a network location with only main network + VPN and set the proxy in both. Still not working, I think it's a technical issue within my current network. It kind of prohibits these settings maybe .. |

VPN+Proxy: How to override main network settings This setting is only available for PPTP VPN, not for a Cisco IPSec. I don't know the difference between those protocols, but my university uses Cisco IPSec. |

VPN+Proxy: How to override main network settings That is what I did. It's auto proxy config with a URL of a .pac file. It seems like the system is using the settings of the network connection and not the VPN settings. |

Does Time Machine change file permissions while doing a backup? Good point! The question is kind of answered anyway: rsync can't preserve hardlinks when copying to a different filesystem. In my case I tried to copy from HFS+ to Ext3 via SSH. There are workarounds though: bit.ly/R7DMcL |

Per application VPN settings @skarface There is no option in the Snow Leopard VPN settings to route only specific traffic over VPN. That is exactly what I was aksing. HOW can I do that with Snow Leopard or with a third party app? |

Per application VPN settings @Asmus: He won't listen. Some more details WHY it's not so brilliant would be helpful :) Do maybe have an idea how I can solve my problem? |

Per application VPN settings @Asmus: This is not my decision, our network admin prefers VPN, so I have to live with that. No direct SSH, period. |
