It doesn't happen with all apps. MS Word or others work just fine. However, I see this behavior also when copying files to a NAS. It won't let me copy because file is in use (selected by Finder). I used 'lsof' command to make sure is Finder's fault.

comment View the file names and directories of eBooks in iTunes
Yeah, I'd also let people sort out their data the way they want. However, that's the way iTunes works I'm afraid. :S

Can you make another question to ask that? By the way, are you aware of the possibility of consolidating a library? (putting all the items in the same place... even if you initially didn't tell iTunes to organize it)

comment How can I change a smart folder's icon without changing the default icon?
How funny... it works for me. dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/18885/test.png I use Mountain Lion though...

comment How to keep mac, iphone, icloud and gmail contacts in sync?
Hi, just to be clear.... I'm only talking about contacts. Just modified to topics to make it even clearer. :) Also, ideally, I'd like to keep Gmail in the sync too.

comment Avoid 'via gmail' for messages sent from my iPhone
Sorry, I probably didn't stress enough the importance of keeping all e-mail in a unique interface. As I said in the question, the @owndomain.com it's a forward only account. So what I am thinking now is... maybe redirecting all e-mail from the Google Apps account to Gmail. However, that creates duplicated e-mails, on the iPhone too. ¿right?

I tried but that will still show the "via XXX" message though... right?

comment Avoid 'via gmail' for messages sent from my iPhone
Hi, thanks for your explanation, it's great. However, what I want to avoid is not the use of the comma trick but the "via XXXX" in Gmail. I believe your solution does not solve that. I am not sure anymore if it's even possible to do easily. :S

So, how does that help setting up my domain as Google Apps then? Won't it show "via domain" anyway?

comment Is there a way to power up a Mac Mini remotely?
I guess it should work with ethernet. The problem is the Mac Mini can only be accessed via WiFi and there's no other computer to trigger the "wake up" packet. I guess the only way of doing this is just leave it always sleeping and use the remote or something. I miss good old days when Mac keyboards had a power button for the machine. :(

Isn't this just to Wake from sleep? Not from OFF?
