comment Should I write app reviews to Mac App Store in English or in my native language?
There is no restriction of the length of a review text, hence you can write them in all official languages for the country's app store. Just like this street sign.

comment Can I browse the Mac App Store without Snow Leopard?
This is no longer true as there are third parties providing access.

comment Time Machine keeps asking to create new backup?
There are reports of this happening with non-RAID NAS, even happening with Apple's own Time Capsule (lookup that discussion thread). Hence RAID scrubbing isn't the sole cause.

comment Do I need to repurchase apps if I moved countries?
More so this is how the backing legal systems are designed. I used to work for an Internet payment company and they have similar constraints – accounts created in one country can't be moved to another because all the agreements that were "signed" (read: you clicked OK on) and the subsequent KYC requirements were to satisfy the laws of a particular country and hence generally not transferrable. TL;DR: blame it on the lawyers and politicians.

You could get a developer ID and sign the re-compiled bash as yourself.

comment Disable OS X Server's shutdown prompt?
The question is to disable the shutdown prompt and not to erase system accounts used by the server. That is, it's OK to shut down even when there are system users being logged in. In normal installations, there are also other users logged in, e.g. _spotlight, _locationd and others but the system shuts down just fine.

comment What's the fastest connection speed / shortest elapsed time using Migration Assistant?
You're missing the Thunderbolt-to-Thunderbolt networking mode option (e.g. use the thunderbolt cable to connect two thunderbolt ports without going through Ethernet.

Running two macs in parallel in non target disk mode also means that two sets of processors are at work. The sending Mac can theoretically compress the files to be migrated before sending it over the link run the compression in parallel with the data transfer (although only Apple can answer this). This is not possible through "target disk mode" as the other mac only serves as a pass-through dumb disk.

comment Disable OS X Server's shutdown prompt?
@DocG. Yes, the Xcode CI's _xcodebuildd user is logged in. The question is about how to ignore these "system" users when shutting down and just let it go as per normal.

comment Disable Shutdown prompt or solve it that it won't show
There is a need to reboot macs every now and then. My Office's MacBook Air trackpad tend not to register multi-finger scrolls and swipes if not rebooted every few days.

comment Can OS X be configured to only allow administrator users access to shutdown tools?
How can I do the exact opposite of this? That is allow anyone on the local console to shutdown the machine?
