I'm a freelance multimedia designer with a background in typographic design. Slowly I started learning HTML and CSS, and I love when I see the page getting together and fortunately still love to see the result of a rendered PHP page (isn't that like magic?). Needless to say that I'm self-taught, and I love graphic and typographic design + web/interface design.
What I like, know and am learning (programming):
- XHTML 4 (learning 5)
- CSS 2 (learning 3)
- Javascript (+jQuery)
- PHP
- mySQL (basics only)
- Applescript
- Shell (basics only)
- Actionscript
- Lingo (Director, not using it so much this days)
When I'm not working I play guitar (all kinds) and ride my bicycle(s).

restore Mac OS Mountain Lion to factory settings without discs or time machine backups In this case, unless you have a propper install on an USB drive, I suggest doing an internet recovery, your OS was bought and you can use it from apple's site to re-install it: support.apple.com/kb/HT4718 |

What file permissions do I need to change after 10.8.3 restore? If you go the "sharing" preference pane, it allows you to set a name to your computer. Have you tried that and checking in iTerm? |

auto unmount .dmg if it has not been accessed for a while @HimanshuPokhariya I posted pointers to get you started, and from the tests I made, checking for disk IO is very procesor hungry, and it will make your system slow unless you check if a certain app in that disk is idle. BTW, why do you want to eject an image after idle? |

Mac Mini won't wake after sleep with Mountain Lion I had the reverse (wouldn't go to sleep), in your case has that always happened? have you done the usual tricks (repair permissions, reset PRAM, check memory, etc?) |

Where can I find the Mountain Lion (Notification Center) notification sound? I was going to tell you that some sounds are related to the specific app calling them, and that one is the sound used by the mail.app! others use different sounds not found in the system sounds library. Good that you found it! |

Where can I find the Mountain Lion (Notification Center) notification sound? @PedroVieira the sound is from that library. Try to listen to every sound file (press the space bar and quick preview allows you to preview the sound) and check if any file coincides with the one you are after. |
