First Apple computer was the Macintosh with 400k internal and external drive - c. 1985 or so?? Primary/favorite computer since then - have macbook pro, ipad, ipod, iphone, imac, and others. Currently trying to extend life from these older ones. Learned a lot from OWC Larry - buying then learning how to install using their tutorials.
Currently trying to extend the life of my workhorse MacBook Pro 13" circa 2009. Battery is shot, logic board, cable or something is preventing my mac from recognizing any drives internally. Currently limping along using a USB adapter cable attached to my IDE drive via my USB port. Had purchased (and don't need) 750GB drive and data stacker. Need a battery for this thing - mine is well over the mileage.
Looking to learn what I can about self-repair, extending, expanding.
