comment VPN with two mac users
You are talking about a single machine with a single network connection with a single MAC address, etc.. Using multiple accounts on the same machine does not change that but using Virtual Machines does... With Parallels you could setup a MacOS VM that connected via VPN, that would be better than Virtual Box... Or maybe there is a way to use the WiFi or a Thunderbolt to Ethernet dongle to use a separate network connection and VPN over just that... interesting.

comment USB Headset - Works on Macbook, not on iMac
Let me guess, you have a Fusion drive in that new iMac? There are a lot of issues with conflicts between USB audio and Apple's Fusion Drives. discussions.apple.com/thread/5659615?start=0&tstart=90

comment How to remove cloud songs from Music app?
That "should" mean that those tracks are now on your device, otherwise they should not be displayed. That is how it works for me.

comment in iOS 7's Music app, how can I not show the huge “album cover” icons?
I would love to have a fix for this! I would be thrilled if I could remove the album artwork and coverflow from the interface entirely.

comment Dell laptop with DisplayPort (but NOT mini) to Thunderbolt monitor
Thunderbolt combines Display Port and PCIe, Apple's Thunderbolt displays require both Display Port for video and PCIe for data. If you look at a Cinema Display that uses Display Port you will see that it includes a USB connector that has to be plugged in for the computer can control the monitor. The Thunderbolt display is designed in such a way that it requires the PCIe connection where the Cinema Display does not require the USB. As jschmidt states below, the Apple Thunderbolt monitor requires a Mac with Thunderbolt... for now at least.

jschmidt's answer below is correct, you cannot connect it directly and there are currently no adapters available.

comment Why doesn't OS X Spotlight search inside .json files?
This is very interesting. Even after adding "json" to the Richtext.mdimport Spotlight file and re-indexing it will still not show the file in the results when searching for text that is in the contents of a JSON file. It will show JSON files in the results if they are searched for by name though... odd...

comment Sleep second display
I do not think that it can be done via the OS. I personally just turn off the second monitor and grumble when I loose the mouse pointer on the monitor that is turned off.
