comment Why does Finder slow down and start beach balling after heavy use?
Please look into the Console and try locating entries around the time your problems happened and post it here

The description is too vague to be helpful. Post the Log entries from the console, maybe there are some clues to your problem.

comment How to disable incoming SMTP for IMAP accounts in Apple Mail?
Just to be clear: The SMTP-Protocol is used for sending E-Mails, You can choose between POP and IMAP for receiving E-Mails. That in Mind, either you are mixing the protocols in your description or i don't understand what you are trying to accomplish.

comment Apple Hardware Test result: 4HDD/11/40000000: SATA(0,0). But repaired Disk and Permissions w/o a problem
Also: what does "no entry sign" mean? Where did that message appear?

The AHT is not 100% reliable. I had a similar issue with the Fusion Drive on my iMac - corresponding to the freezes were log entries for I/O-errors. AHT reported no problems. Look into the Console /Applications/Utilities/Console.app and try to narrow the timeframe to the last freeze and post the entries found there.

comment Macbook pro stuck on boot - “AppleUSBHostPort::interruptOccurred: overcurrent detected”
Did you by any chance open up the MBP, f.e. to change the HD or SSD? "Overcurrent" points to a short in the electric connections cased by faulty wires or connections.

Technically it is not just the (external) USB-Port but all devices connected to the MBP, f.e. the integrated Facetime Camera.

comment Transferring file creation dates to an Asustor NAS
As another unrelated comment & question: Perhaps the timing is right to adapt your filing system or use a third-party Software to organize (and/or index it) like "NeoDrive". My Question: How did you "meticulously organized" your files by their creation Date? The creation date is generated automatically (which is your current Problem) and usually cannot be changed.

comment Transferring file creation dates to an Asustor NAS
As an unrelated comment: Check up on the RAID levels your NAS Supports. "Single" as you mentioned probably means all drives are used as single drives. You probably have not experienced a Dive Failure yet - i suggest you should look into RAID 5 or 6.

It would have been useful to know what you tried beforehand :-/ I recommend you read about Filesystems (f.e. in Wikipedia) and their capabilities for storing Data and Metadata. IMO it is a necessary requirement before researching about copying and transferring files (which you do have to do next). Also it is vital that you determine the Filesystem of your NAS before trying to copy your data (your comment does not provide a useful answer) with all Metadata bc. it depends on the Filesystem Capabilities and the copy method used.

comment OS X 10.11(.1) Randomly freezes while browsing
According to the Log entries there ist a Report written at "/Library/Logs/DiagnosticReports/WindowServer_2015-11-15-082423_Clemenss-MacBook‌-Pro.userspace_watchdog_timeout.spin". Could you post that?

It would be best to post the log with some entries around that incident. There are too many possibilities at this moment without further information.

Where did you create the DNS Settings? If you modified your Zone File, it may take a while for the changes to take effect. Also, try to change your DNS-Server to google (8.8.8.8) to see if there is a problem with your current DNS-Server Settings
