comment Programmer new to Apple - How to efficiently switch between files in XCode?
@Cupidvogel Not at my computer right now for details, but there is a tab in Xcode's preferences just for those controls.

comment Changes to Terminal in El Capitan
There's much more to this than square brackets. Those are "marks", and there are a bunch of references to them in the edit menu. You can add and remove marks, and use them to move around, select or clear output. And you can hide the bracket from the view menu but still get the functionality.

comment MacBook Pro screen freaks out, goes psychedelic — I'm at a loss — suggestions?
I have a 2010 MBP (model also known to have graphics card issues) and had similar corruption, but it generally didn't affect the window I was using. I used it for several months like that, but eventually it died completely. I suggest you get it repaired soon so that you get to choose when.

comment With the “small” Mac keyboard, how to simulate a HOME, END, and PageUp, PageDown key?
@Mark I don't know of another combination. You could turn on Sticky keys in System Preferences > Accessibility > Keyboard, which would let you press fn then the arrow separately.

Try control+K. (I'm not posting this as an answer because I'm not sure if I added it or it's there by default).

comment Prevent OS X Mavericks from autoquitting applications for sleep
What are you referring to as "sleeping" an account? The only thing I could think of would be fast user switching, which does not quit applications.

comment Repeated Kernel Panics & Freezing on Late 2012 Mac Mini 6,1. Help please with the Log
If its failing with all of those configurations, and the 10.8.4 image is one you used previously with no problems, it's likely a logic board issue. You could look up the machine check number in the log, but it would take some effort since those are often specific to certain processors. The best thing would be to take it in and have it checked out, apple stores have much more thorough tests.

comment Is it impossible to listen to podcasts on iOS 6 now?
Call Apple support. Since the app is their product, they might help you get an older version of the app.
