Should I be concerned if the helpd process is eating RAM after an upgrade to Lion? It was the real memory. Indeed the problem has disappeared with the last Lion updates. Large amounts of memory are used when opening new applications with large documentations: but it occurs only on the first launch. |

How to set a default font for outgoing messages in Mail on Lion I have tried Universal Mailer (1st link) and it actually works and completely solves the problem. The first answer actually solves vey little.. |

Should I be concerned if the helpd process is eating RAM after an upgrade to Lion? Is it possible that having many applications helpd is refreshed very often? The problem is that not the process itself , but the fact that the RAM consumption is too high for me. Anyway to bound it? What am i going to loose if I just disable it? |
