comment How to create third partition on a Mac with Mavericks and Bootcamp?
try this: after you install Win7 via bootcamp, devide the mac partition, and create 3rd partition with disk utility. Boot camp windows wont boot. now you need to boot via win7 CD/USB, via recovery mode, go to command prompt and REPAIR the boot specifications. (go to command, and rub FIXBOOT C:, where C is your windows partition). good luck.

comment How to create several partitions on an external hard, recognizable by both windows and mac?
Thanks for reply. This is my spare external hard drive. I keep SL Installation disk, since the original DVD (came with macbook) is in bad shape, so I don't want to lose it.

comment MacBook Pro hard disk failure. How to recover and clean install?
Just an update to the question: I bought a new HDD and problem was solved. I formatted the old hard and use it as external hard. (not faulty since then). Only after about 1 year, the exact same problem occurred again. This time I changed the cable, and now the problem is gone. Am not sure, if the first time it was also the cable problem, or both cable and Hard had problems?! Anyway, I would suggest people to give priority in inspecting and changing the HDD cable, is things go south.

Doesn't the recovery partition of Marvicks create problems for this procedure?

comment How to create third partition on a Mac with Mavericks and Bootcamp?
I have another had disk that with same configuration (one partition for Snow Leopard, one partition for Win7 Boocamp, and one FAT32 data partition). I updated to Marvicks while having this hard disk on my mac, and I have two problems: 1. becasue of third partition, installer says it is unusal partition configuration, and did not create the Recovery Partition. 2. It does not boot to Bootcamp anymore! So I figure I should do a clean install

comment How to configure mac book pro to act as an Access Point (and not a router)?
@Buscar웃, Thanks, This link seems like it should work for me as well. I followed the instructions, still the same problem :( Either it does not connect, or it connects and I get the error message that I am not allowed to use router :(

comment How to configure mac book pro to act as an Access Point (and not a router)?
Thanks @Buscar, but the guide from ASK4 does not help. I do NOT have a router/access point device, and I want to use my laptop as an access point. In the guide it says to set the ethernet networking setting in laptop to Automatic DHCP, and to set the router setting to "Manual" (instead of DHCP). If I replace the word router with Mac, then which one I should do? Manual or Automatic? You see my point?
