It might be screensaver's fault: I was using "Word of the day", it hasn't happened since I've switched to "Classic". I'm waiting a bit more before posting this as an answer.

@Joop done. There were a whole lot of permission errors in the printer drivers, and finally an error relative to displaypolicyd. I'll update. Meanwhile you might want to post this as an answer, just in case it works.

Knowing this I've tried and you're right: even "logging out" normally leaves some processes running. Would you edit your post so I can reverse the downvote? Actually it might sense to integrate this information anyway.

It might count as "logged out", but if you check with ps -auxw you'll notice there are still many processes pertaining to the "logged out" user.
