comment iOS: Newly added contacts get hidden and don't sync to iCloud
@bmike Seems to have resolved itself in the last year, perhaps over one of the iOS upgrades. If it helps to delete the question, I'd be grateful if you could do so.

The "Default Account" option is for Mail -- at least, that's the case for me on iOS 5.

Richard - thanks, but I mean this on iOS. Unlike Address Book preferences on the Mac, there isn't an equivalent place (that I'm aware of) to define where to put newly-created contacts on iOS.

comment OS X Terminal “must have” utilities
@Vincent I liked iTerm2... until Lion Terminal came out, and could open new tabs in the same directory as the current tab, and greyed out history. Waiting for iTerm to get those.

Solarized for Lion Terminal doesn't look quite right for me -- the colors are off compared to Vim and iTerm. Anyone encountered this?

comment Mission Control slow and jerky on 2011 MacBook Pros: any fix?
@bmike - not quite the same topic, but ok to close anyway since I don't see many others facing this issue (and I'm not in a position to test it any more). Accepted the solution below, will leave it open for a couple more weeks.
