I've been using Macs since they have existed. I like to do what I want to do with my computer, not what Apple since 2000 tells me I "should" do. Hubby and I have a huge network with many terrabytes of home-ripped video storage for our personal use (all perfectly legal). Hubby also runs Boot Camp and Parallels to handle his work as a climate change scientist. Whilst there is much of Apple I do not respect, I will do my best to avoid being labeled as a "ranter" and honour whatever rules and conventions you have in place here. I can no longer find relevant answers to my problems with my apple products on the apple support forum.
