Why is there no bootable disk found when using windows install disk? Yes I did. Could not work installing Windows 7 to my Mac through a USB. Just couldn't detect it. So I resorted to using a DVD installer with UDF format. I will try using the contents of the DVD though to create a USB installer and get back to this post should I find any success. |

How can I install boot camp off a Windows 7 USB flash drive? Sorry but this isnt exactly an answer as I dont have commenting privileges yet. I would just like to ask if during the refit menu on start up, if it shows the USB Flash Drive with Windows or the MS-DOS FAT Partition? Mine says Install Windows but when I continue it says No bootable drive detected. |

Restore from Time Machine after installing Bootcamp I have already tried VMs. But they are slow. And Ill be playing games and using heavy apps on Windows 7 so I guess Bootcamp is the way. |

Restore from Time Machine after installing Bootcamp not really. since im not yet that familiar with my Mac, and I want to try out bootcamp, I just want to know how to restore things the way they were before should my installation of Win7 using bootcamp screw up. And I am anticipating a screw up because I do not have my Mac OS X Lion installer with me (Laptop is company issued), I heard you can install bootcamp/windows 7 without the Mac OS X installer DVD by downloading Apple's drivers on the web. |
