comment iOS: How can I overdub an m4a email attachment?
@Tetsujin just to be clear, I am talking about doing this on iOS, not OS X. (Not sure a wav would be any easier to overdub)

comment What is wrong with my iMac? (video corruption, unstable)
Upgrading a graphics card in an iMac is a very specific process, and won't be informed by reading articles about PC graphics cards in general (your first link). Also, there are generally only a few exact models of gfx card that work with any given iMac model, so even searching for "mac graphics cards" is way too broad. Check out my question (and answer) about upgrading the card in the mac relating to this question: apple.stackexchange.com/questions/117685/…

Wow. They actually told you to stop using Chrome? That seems fishy to me, at best. I would get a second opinion!

comment Using terminal to get current fan speed?
I'm running 10.8.5 on an iMac and my spindump report doesn't include any mention of "Fan speed" or even "fan".

comment Sourcing a replacement graphics card for an iMac
Shame. Woulda thought that repair shops would have access to some kind of manifest for each model though! Guess there would be limited practical need for them.

Thanks @cksum that's great to know. Is there anywhere to find "part manifest" lists for Apple products?

comment OSX: run an application and prevent users to close
You need to use software that sets up a "kiosk mode". Check out this question (which has an answer) apple.stackexchange.com/questions/97471/…
