Change shortcut in Keynote I am curious how your research will turn out. However, my final recommendation is: any software solution will be easier to do than hardware modification. Good luck! |

Change shortcut in Keynote If you activate Caps Lock on your keyboard during your presentation, it might work with the presenter. Can’t test b/c my CL key is broken :) |

Change shortcut in Keynote I have the same presenter! It never occurred to me you could go back one animation phase! Thanks for that. Regarding your question: Generally it is possible to re-configure keyboard commands for any item that is in menus. Seems there is no menu command for Shift-Back Arrow -- or is it? Have to think about that... |

Change shortcut in Keynote If I understand you correctly: do you have a remote which simulates key presses on a keyboard? Which model? |

Mail.app: How can I archive the “smarts” of Smart Mailboxes? Regarding the relevant files, I have JUST recently upgraded my second Mac to Mountain Lion, and it turns out all Smart Mailboxes are indeed synchronized between the same iCloud account on various Macs (neat!). That’s the reason for the Synced filename part I guess... |

Mail.app: How can I archive the “smarts” of Smart Mailboxes? Neat! This also works on Mountain Lion. Didn't know that was possible. Seems like a good solution — also taken into account I want to keep some other smart playlists. Thanks! |

Mail.app: How can I archive the “smarts” of Smart Mailboxes? Thank you very much for the detailed post! I examined options 2) and 3). Seems like 10.8 Mail, SyncedSmartMailboxes.plist and SmartMailboxesLocalProperties.plist are the two relevant files. Editing the former has no effects unfortunately; I assume the data is cached somewhere else. Even though I LOVE working in the terminal, editing any of these files by hand feels a bit too dangerous for me :) |
