Hardware virtualization is not supported on MacBookPro 2010 It would be useful to know exactly which model you have, particularly which CPU. |

1920 x 1200 resolution monitor with VGA not detected by Mac OS X 10.7.2 That's simply not true. The resolution available with the Apple Mini DisplayPort to VGA Adapter is 1920 x 1200. 1920x1200 works fine over VGA here. |

Mac mini, two monitors over hdmi and Thunderbolt simultaneously It'll still need it. Thunderbolt ports can output Mini-Displayport, and they might be able to supply enough power for the adapter, but the adapter won't be designed to take advantage of that. |

MobileBackups not being backed up Under normal circumstances, there is no reason whatsoever to delete local snapshots manually. They get deleted automatically when free disk space drops below 20%, and more aggressively when it drops below 10%. That's why Finder excludes them from the display of free space. They're also completely independent of external backups - there was a rumour once that Time Machine would move them to external storage, but that's not true. More about local snapshots |

How to connect to modem setup as bridge through Airport Extreme? My best guess is that the modem is simply ignoring you. Because of NAT, your router is identifying the outgoing traffic as coming from 75.x.y.2, and the modem might intentionally only allow access from within 192.168.0.x. |

Is it bad or unhealthy to put my Mac to sleep? I'd be curious to know whether safe sleep writes all 8GB or just the parts that are in use. If I get bored enough later, I might test this by comparing how long it takes for my power LED to start blinking when all 8GB is in use versus as little as possible. |

How to connect to modem setup as bridge through Airport Extreme? Can you run traceroute 192.168.0.1 in Terminal and paste the result into your question or pastebin? It might give some useful information. I have a similar setup and I think I've had trouble connecting to my modem at times, but right now it works normally. |
